Our Big Red Clifford Day!


Today we spent the whole morning playing with Clifford! 


Our morning table job was dog bone printing with small, medium and large dog biscuits:



At circle time, we read Clifford the Big Red Dog, then got to work making some puppy chow.
First, we scooped some cereal:

We added peanut butter, butter, cocoa powder and sugar to cup to be melted and mixed:

 


We poured the melted mix on top of the cereal and stirred it up. Then, we dumped it all in a giant bag, and added powdered sugar and a pinch more cocoa powder.  Time to SHAKE it!



Our puppy chow was spread on some trays to cool and dry, and we went off to centers!

We built dog (and kitty) houses for Clifford:




We practiced counting and making sets with dog bones:

 After all that, we were doggone hungry for some of that puppy chow! While we ate, Ms. Margie read us a book of Clifford jokes and riddles:
