Donuts with Dad!

Friday was a special day- our annual Donuts with Dad!!
We gave Dad a special trophy for being our very own heroes. Then we had some donuts, read some books (our Pre-K 4's were the most popular authors!), got pictures taken together and showed them around our classroom.

Daddies aren't the only superheroes around!
Check out the pages of the newest book by our little authors:

Other fun this week! We used long and short popsicle sticks to construct lots of straight line letters.

We worked on drawing and painting our new book pages, and dictated the words to Ms. Heather.

We practiced reading, writing and sounding out Rr, and got creative with some round cardboard, miscellaneous metal parts and paper to create handy robots.

Thursday, a pack of robots got loose in the classroom! We had to find all 26. In order to make sure we didn't miss any, we matched them all up to the letters on our rug.

Counting Legos and listening for letters!

What a busy week!
