Scholastic Books

Each month, we will send home the Scholastic Book Club flyers for anyone who wishes to order books for their child. It's a great way for you to get new books at a reduced price, and for us to be able to build up a balance of bonus points and credits that we can use to add books and teaching materials to our classroom library (bonus points bought us our set of alphabet letter readers and all our circle time big books!) . Simply go to the Scholastic website, (click here for our class order page) and register as a parent. If you have used online ordering for a different teacher's class and are already a registered member of Scholastic, please update your profile so that your orders will now be included with our class this year. Once logged in, you can browse several monthly flyers, choose books, and submit an order. Payment is handled between you and Scholastic- I never see any private financial information. Once the order cycle is closed, I will submit the final order and we should receive our books in a week to 10 days!

When books arrive here at school, we will send them home in the backpack. If you would prefer that I not give them to your child to put in the backpack (i.e. Christmas gifts, surprises), just send me an email and we will bag them up and give them to you directly.

If for some reason you do not choose to do online ordering, but would still like to order books, you can fill out the order form on the flyer and return it to school with a check made out to Scholastic Books (not WIPP). Please make sure the order form is filled out clearly, and that your check is for the exact amount. DO NOT SEND CASH. However, shipping is only free if we have at least one online order per cycle, so please use the online order form if possible. Thanks!
