Bats and Owls

We've been doing lots of spooky learning over the past few days! Our nighttime animal projects have been lots of fun-> our room and hall are now decorated with bats and owls. We also worked on the letter Oo, practiced counting with some dice and paint dotters on our bat picture mats, and made yummy owl snacks with candy corn, sun butter, marshmallows and graham crackers.

 We read about nocturnal animals in The Best Nest . Then we made torn paper bird nests with baby owlets.
