A Vet Made A Visit!

Today was an extra special day because we had a visit from Dr. Baker, her helper Blake, and lots of their interesting pets! Dr. Baker showed us how she examines and treats all different animals- they each need different care. We learned how to listen to hearts, saw how she has to hold each one differently to examine them, and even saw how she gives them medicine. We learned what they eat, what they like to do, what kind of cages/pens/ beds they like to have, and all kinds of other interesting facts. We got to pet the animals, and see how different fur, feathers, skin, scales, shells and scutes feel. I think we might have a few future vets in the class!

Moxie was so good with all the other animals!

Agadore is a favorite- he sings, dances and says hello!

 

Our Pre-K listeners are super polite and well behaved with our guests!
