We finished up our nocturnal animals theme with a day in the dark. Since we can't really have school at night, we covered up most of our windows, turned out the lights and pretended it was nighttime inside. We had lots of glowing centers to visit for playing and learning. Several of our friends were absent (and we missed them!), so we invited our friends across the hall in Ms. Hill's and Buttercup's class to come join us. It made a fun day even better to share it with more friends!
