Winter in the South!

We have been having winter fun- Southern style- the past couple of days! While it's not likely we'll have a chance to go throw snowballs outside any time soon, we did go out and throw snowy beachballs last Friday!

Today, we played -and wrote- in some snowy white shaving cream. Some of us didn't want to touch it too much, others dug right in and had fun playing with their hands buried, and a few probably would have jumped right in to make a full body snow angel if our trays were big enough!

Here we are playing a dice game with Mrs. Horton. We took turns rolling the die, counting the dots and taking a matching number of snowflakes to put on our game boards. First one to fill a board wins!

Our placemats this month have mittens on them. We tried hard to make a matching left and right set!

Here is one of the penguin projects we did today. Our other waddling works of art will be hung up in the hallway as soon as they are dry. These penguins disappeared as soon as we finished putting them together!
