Clifford Day!

Friday was a big RED day!
We played and learned with Clifford the Big Red dog all day long.

First off, we dressed in lots of red today!

As soon as we came in to class, we painted with the some dog bones to fill up Clifford's snack bowl.

Then, we got to cooking our own snack for later in the day: PUPPY CHOW!

pouring the warm sunbutter /chocolate mix on the cereal
We don't cook puppy chow in the oven. We shake it A LOT!

After shaking, the puppy chow went on some trays to dry, and we got busy with some doggy learning.

We counted lots and lots of dog biscuits.

We made some Clifford puppets. Our cutting skills are getting better and better!

We worked like a team to build some dog houses for Clifford and his friends.

And, of course, we read Clifford books!

After all that, we had a delicious puppy chow snack with a side of biscuits.

It was wonderful to spend our Friday with Clifford!

Other fun this week:

We were vets in our cooperative play center:

We worked together to build amazing buildings:

We learned about the letter Dd:

We made our October calendars.

And, we practiced lots of pet patterning!

See you in October!
