Healthy Teeth

In between the excitement of Donuts with Daddy last week and this week's Dr. Seuss days, we got in some learning about our teeth.

We searched through grocery flyers for foods that are healthy/ not healthy for our teeth.

We made a book about healthy dental hygiene! We worked on the sight word "my" on each page, and had fun rereading our books with friends.

Our magazine this week was about all kinds of teeth!

We read about Clarabella the Crocodile, who missed all her friends and playtime because it took SO long to brush her many teeth. We had fun gunking up some giant teeth and then it took all of us a while to get them really really clean with our toothbrushes and toothpaste (shaving cream). Just like these giant molars, our back teeth need careful brushing to get in between all the bumps and lumps too!

We played a game to fill a smile with healthy teeth. Spin the spinner, count the tooth stickers, close your eyes to pick teeth out of the bucket, and then add them to your smile. Oops!- if you got a tooth with a cavity, you have to put that one back!

We also snuck in a little color word building, because these are important words to know!
