Water Day!

We had a busy week!
Our ocean explorations continued with our seahorse project and some beribboned jellyfish, as well as lots of ocean themed storybooks. We learned our songs for Mother's Day and Graduation, and had practices for both programs in the church. Throughout the week we played with our letters, numbers and sounds. Wednesday was our celebration of our "almost" birthdays (summer bdays).
Best of all, Friday was our annual 4s Water Day!

We went to the back field and found a sprinkler, pools filled with water, ocean animals, boats, scooper/funnels/sieves, water beads, slime and dinosaurs! We could use as much shaving cream as we wanted to wash cars, build with blocks, or squish and squash it for fun. Our painters found a giant tarp ready for paint, and those ready to run played beach ball soccer and hula hoops. When it was time to slow down, sidewalk chalk and bubbles let us relax and create. Popsicles and watermelon filled us up, and gave us energy to go back and do it all again. It was a wonderful wet day!
