Our Glow in the Dark Day!

Today, we turned out the lights for all our activities and pretended it was nighttime. We were NOCTURNAL- just like the bats, owls and the silly Halloween monsters we've been reading about all week!

Since our room was pretty dark, all our activities glowed! Slippery glowing slime on the light box was oozy-gooey fun, and probably tied for favorite activity with our glowing water beads. We also had light sticks in our regular sensory table, glow writing with highlighters under a blacklight, lite brites, reading by lantern light, and fall manipulatives on the light box.

 

 

 

 

We ended the morning with a campfire craft snack, and headed out into the sunshine for some playground time. It was a fun sensory filled day!
