Our circle print pictures came out beautiful! The goals with this project were to paint carefully within the black lines (that fine motor control takes lots of practice), and to remember to change brushes and keep our paint colors "clean". Each child chose their own colors, and whether or not to paint all the circles, or leave some white. We were so impressed with the care and time the kids took with their paintings, and loved seeing the pride and joy they felt as they saw what each had created.
Our first class authored book came off the presses as well this week! It has joined our library, and is a fun buddy read at book time.
