Today was all about the letter Tt! We had a wonderful time at our tea party center drinking tea and eating cinnamon toast. We talked about good table manners: saying "please pass the ___", keeping a napkin in our lap, and taking turns pouring warm tea in our cups, buttering toast and using tongs to add a sweet sugar cube. We even carefully washed and rinsed our cups ourselves so the next person had a fresh clean cup to use. Everyone was so careful pouring, using and washing the special dishes that we didn't even have one spill!
FYI- our tea was caffeine free herbal tea and sugar cubes were strictly rationed. :)
Our tea party wasn't the only fun! We also used the letter builders, made pilgrim collars for our Thanksgiving program, and played with the trains and track for the first time today. After practicing our program songs, we headed out to end our day in the cool sunshine on the playground.
