Monday morning was chilly outside and inside last week! Since it is usually our no center day (music or Spanish on Mondays), we generally have several centers open that are free choice, instead of our usual structured color groups. This week, we had 4 choices, but most of our friends spent lots of time at the ice table playing with big and small blocks of ice. We had a skating rink, frozen colored stars and lots of familiar characters to enjoy. Good thing we also had lots of mittens!
