Ee is for Elephant!

We worked extra hard on tricky Ee this week! And who better to help us with Ee than Elmer the Elephant? We shared lots of stories at circle time, created our own patchwork quilt elephant masks, and cooked cinnamon elephant ears for snack one day.

First we rolled up a long sltrip of bread dough, then brushed it with butter and sprinkled some cinnamon sugar on top. Best part was the eating!

It's always a great idea to make time for some flannel board fun, sensory table time and a tea party!

Counting, counting, and more counting! As we get closer to 100's Day, we are working with numbers every single day. Here we are putting together a hundreds chart. For each set of numbers, 2 buddies worked together to put the pictures in the correct numeral order.

Fine motor control- we are always working on controlling our finger muscles! Here we are painting giant whales for our bible story about Jonah. We played Race to the Top with some of our new letters. After each spin of the wheel, we added a letter to our paper in the correct column. First letter to the top won!

Time for the playground!
