Summer Birthdays
We celebrated some almost birthdays in class this month for those of us with summer birthdays! Last week, Ms. Heather celebrated not turning 40 yet with yummy brownies and muffins, a beautiful painted balloon bouquet and birthday surprise from the whole class. Then today, we celebrated our friends who are almost 5 and 6 with cupcakes and juice picnic style in the garden!

Building Tunnels
We had to get our brains working creatively to build some ball tunnels at centers on Tuesday. Each group jumped right in to assemble a pile of pvc pipe sections and elbow connectors into some awesome ball runs. Some groups tried to make 4 individual contraptions, but most quickly came to the conclusion that if they worked together there were more minds and more pieces to use!
