We came in to a cool dark school this morning due to a power outage, but it didn't stop us from having Christmas fun! Since it was already dark, we put on our Christmas light necklaces and practiced our song for the holiday program tomorrow:
Then, we had 2 crafts to do until it was time for the party. We made jingle bell bracelets at one table, and our Christmas tree cone cupcakes at the other.
Our tree has a lot of presents underneath today! We played Christmas musical chairs until everyone picked out a present. When everyone had one, we opened our packages and found socks filled with a reindeer nose, bouncy ball, pencil and candy.
Then it was time for our yummy party snacks!
